Healthy Three Ingredient Salmon Cakes

Like salmon? Love crab cakes? These healthy three ingredient salmon cakes are just what you’re looking for! Insanely easy to make and packed with flavor, these guys are sure to be a new favorite in your house!

Ingredients

  • 1 can salmon I use Chicken of the Sea brand
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs plain
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 1 radish
  • 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tbsp dill chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a frying pan on medium heat and spray with cooking oil.

  2. Combine one can of cooked salmon, I use Chicken of the Sea brand, with one egg and ½ cup plain bread crumbs in a bowl.

  3. Mix with your hands until all ingredients are combined well.

  4. Form the salmon mixture into small patties.

  5. Place patties onto frying pan and cook both sides until nice and crispy, about 3-5 minutes on each side. (*note: the salmon is already cooked, so you are really just heating up the patties and crisping them up. *)

  6. Top with nonfat Greek yogurt, sliced radishes, capers, dill, lemon juice (all optional, but definitely recommended for added flavor)
